Here's my experience with Power Kratom...
I ordered a bottle from their website and I have to say... I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it was shipped out and delivered. Off to a good start. But this doesn't mean anything if the extract itself isn't any good.
Once I had it in-hand, I put it in the fridge overnight (by far the best way to consumer kratom) with the plan of trying it out in the morning.
The next day I looked it over and you can tell the gentlemen behind this product have experience. The packaging is likely the best I've seen and the bottle looks great. Not like some of the... let's call them "less than professional" bottles you see on the market.
The bottle was sealed and I removed the cap and smelled the extract. That's the first thing I noticed that was different about this one. It didn't have the usual "kratom" smell. I smelled a light mango flavor, but it wasn't overwhelming.
As we all know, kratom extract has a reputation for having a putrid aftertaste. All the brands have been making an attempt to mask the flavor the past couple years but most have failed miserably.
I was becoming hopeful this was a game changer. I had become jaded the past couple years as worse and worse products continued to come out. So let's see if this aftertaste has been fixed... as claimed.
I kicked back the bottle and took a small sip. The texture was smooth (no grit or odd textures). I noticed a light mango flavor pretty fast. And oddly enough... it really does taste like mango.
I usually get an aftertaste immediately. The knock you on the ground, twist up your face like a sour candy type of kick. After 5 seconds I still didn't have that aftertaste arrive.
Holy crap. They really did fix the flavor.
It isn't ALL gone. It still has a bit of a medicinal cough syrup effect. But that's probably a good thing since there's 3 servings per bottle.
This is looking very promising.
Now it was time for the part that mattered the most. Did it have the "kick" that extracts are known (and desired) for? If not, then it would only be a "half" success.
For me personally, I usually start to get the effect in as little as a few minutes, and it slowly increases to the peak over the next little bit. Now I've been taking extracts for a while, and most of the 45% extracts require about a whole bottle to get the effect anymore.
But after taking just a third, I started to get the effect kicking in. And it wasn't long before I had the full "hit" in effect!
I'm glad I took the advice on the card they sent along with the bottle in the mail... saying to "Be careful... It's strong!" If I took the usual amount I've become accustomed to the past few years then it would have been more than I wanted.
I've gotta say... I'm impressed, and that's not easy to do after having tried every product on the market for over a decade.
I think there is real merit to it being "Kratom 2.0" and this might just be the game changer the industry has been waiting on.
I'm interested to see what they do moving forward as there are rumors of them coming out with a Cola flavored extract... and that would be another game changer.
